Removing preloaded proxies from the database (replacing them with your own ones)
(other tech support topics)

Q: I wish to replace the proxies which came with AF with my own. So how do I edit or delete the AF proxy list?

A: At the moment there is no way to edit the AF database. The only thing you can do is delete it altogether, and then add your own proxies to the empty database, thus making your own small database. That is NOT something we recommend but you can do it if you like. Here's how to delete the database:

  1. Shutdown AntiFirewall
  2. Make a full backup of your AntiFirewall folder (usually C:\Program Files\AntiFirewall)
  3. Delete AF.CDB and AF.NDB files from the AntiFirewall folder (it's normal if you find only one of them instead of both; delete it anyway)
  4. Start AF and add your proxies.

That's it.
